Can anyone find list of successes of U.S. Containment during the cold war?

Both sides were armed to the teeth after WWII and with the soviets taking over all the eastern european countries, it was only thru our political/national resolve (and the world's best military didn't hurt either) that the russkies never made a play for western europe. We also kept them out of the middle east by allying with Iran (the Shah), as that would have been their most straight forward land bridge to the oil fields in Saudi, Bahrain, Iraq, and Iran. Reagan's 600 ship Navy and SDI (strategic defense initiative...aka star wars) finally caused them to spend themselves to the point of bankruptcy.

Pain in chest? please help?

aye im 14 nd i work out 5 times a week. i do arms and chest then the next day legs and abs and then i take a rest. Ok well i don't want a guesses here i want your best inference or something because i have this chain in the middle of my chest nd if i turn to the right or left it hurts at a scale of 8 out of 10. When im just sitting here it's about a 3-4. this has been going on for about 2 days and is very annoying. It kind of feels like a muscle pain, but what muscle is in the middle of my chest? it feels like it is inside my ribs. What is this?? if i just move my neck it's about a 6. help me :/

My boyfriend is cambodian and most of his family has bad teeth?

some are rotten or discolored. his four year old daughter has many cavities and her baby teeth are rotting. in the nicest way possible, is this a genetic thing? i have noticed many asians with bad teeth. is this a result of poor diet? i heard that they feed babies sugary condensed milk? im just worried because we are expecting a baby that will be mixed puerto rican /black and half cambodian. he has told me that most people dont care about dental care in cambodia because they are so poor but, i have noticed many asians born in america have bad teeth too.

You don't need to wean your baby at 3 months. You need to give your baby milk until she is a year old and then you can wean her, rather it is bottle or . We started giving our daughter cereal in her bottles. When she was about 4 months we started giving her applesauce and we she was 6 months we was giving her mash potatoes and gravy things like that, but we still gave her a bottle until she was a year.

Indirect ways for Syphilis to be spread?

So im doing a project on syphilis and there are some things that im not too sure on. On my paper given to me by my teacher it says that my disease is ADVANCED syphilis. but when i type it in on Google all i get is plain 'ol syphilis. Is advanced syphilis and syphilis just the same thing? and i read on a website that "Syphilis cannot be spread through contact with toilet seats, doorknobs, swimming pools, hot tubs, bathtubs, shared clothing, or eating utensils". Does that only mean after they've been washed?
