Best airline to use from Germany to Taiwan?

Does anybody know the best airline from Germany to Taiwan (anywhere in Taiwan). Would prefer a direct flight but can change if necessary. Was looking at air china but their safety record is dubious! Can pay a bit more if it's worth it as would rather arrive in one piece :)
