How do mormons believe one gets to heaven, as opposed to how christians believe it?

Christians believe the only way to get eternal life is through excepting God's gift of eternal life through his son, Jesus Christ, dying on the cross for us. Deeds or wrongdoings do not play a part in this. How do mormons believe you get to heaven?
