My problem with LOFTEK Brand CXS 2200?

I tried to install the camera on my pc...I set up the IP address automatically & can't get an internet connection through the browser, once I clicked on the browse on. A window doesn't pop up to put my user id or pword to allow me to go any further with the set up for the camera. I am using google chrome, but also tried IE browser as well. What am I doing wrong? I searched through an automatic fix for the problem & it said that the configuration was correct, but my device wasn't responding. I did my wireless router & other printers,cameras, etc. Please help me resolve this problem.
