Shall we call our new baby Violet or Ruby?

My wife's due to give birth any time soon to our second daughter. We're struggling with two names - Violet and Ruby. Our surname starts with a 'D' which would make Violet 'VD'! Ruby is really really popular though. Our first daughter is called Heidi which is quite uncommon. What do you think??!
