When your appliances start to make funky sounds, who do you call?

If I cant fix it, my husband, if he cant fix it, he calls in a group of his friends who end up standing around it with their hands on their hips trying to look manly, if they cant fix it, as long as it still does its job we dont really call anyone, dont really see the point in spending money over something that just makes a strange noise but works overall.
