Poll : If your good at english/grammar can you help me out?

In the words biology and cryptogenic, what are the two suffixes/2nd base words. I know Biology has bi which means life, and cryptogenic has crypt which means hidden. But what are the other 2 bases in each word? Thanks a lot.
